The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) – PMO Agusan was recognized with a Plaque of Appreciation during the 5th Founding Anniversary celebration of the Coast Guard District Northeastern Mindanao (CGDNEM) on November 18, 2024, at the LMX Convention Center, Butuan City. The event, themed โCGDNEM@5: Padayon sa Pag-abante sa Limpyo, Luwas ug Hapsay na CARAGA-tanโ, highlighted the Coast Guardโs achievements in maritime safety and environmental stewardship.
Rear Admiral Edgar L. Ybaรฑez, Deputy Commandant for Administration of the Philippine Coast Guard, graced the occasion as the guest speaker, while representatives from PMO Agusan, including its Port Police Officers, participated actively in the celebration. The plaque was awarded to PMO Agusan in recognition of its steadfast support in helping the Coast Guard fulfill its mandate of ensuring safe, secure, and efficient maritime operations across Caraga.
