The Port Management Office (PMO) of Agusan held its 3rd Quarter Joint Port Management Advisory Council (PMAC) and Port Facility and Security Advisory Committee (PFSAC) meeting on August 19, 2024, at the PMO Multipurpose Hall. Led by Port Manager and Council Chairperson Mildred J. Padilla, the meeting brought together key stakeholders, including PMO Agusan senior staff, LGU officials, and representatives from shipping lines, port associations, maritime and law enforcement agencies, and government entities.
Discussions focused on port operations, infrastructure projects, security measures, operational performance, and development plans, including the feasibility study for Masao Port. Updates on ticket scalping prevention efforts and the posting of vessel schedules were also presented. Terminal operators Globalport Agusan Terminal Inc. (GATI) and Concord Arrastre & Stevedoring Corp. (CASCOR) shared initiatives on enhancing port usersโ satisfaction for Nasipit Port and updates on facility repair and greening program for Masao Port, respectively.
PM Padilla expressed gratitude to the council members for their support and active participation. The meeting concluded with the distribution of the PMO CY2023 Annual Report.
