With pride in its legacy and a steadfast vision for nation-building, the Port Management Office (PMO) of Agusan commemorated the 51st Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) through a vibrant and meaningful celebration held on July 11, 2025, at the PMO Multipurpose Hall, Port of Nasipit.
The program opened with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass, offering gratitude for five decades of dedicated service and the enduring strength of the PPA community. This was followed by wellness activities, including free medical consultations and random blood sugar testing for PMO personnel.
An Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) showcasing PMO Agusanโs key accomplishments and milestones from the past year was also shown, highlighting the officeโs contributions to efficient port operations, public service, and organizational growth.
In his message, Acting Port Manager Kahlil L. Lamigo highlighted the anniversary theme, โSustaining the Legacy, Strengthening the Nation,โ as a guiding principle for the years ahead. He emphasized the importance of unity, resilience, and a sustained commitment to service excellence, reaffirming PMO Agusanโs vital role in driving national progress through improved port management and innovation.
The celebration concluded with a lively community dance session, promoting health, wellness, and camaraderie among employees.
