PMO Agusan, represented by Port Manager, Mildred J. Padilla, together with the Division Managers, participated in an evaluation interview organized by the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) held today, November 7, 2024, at the PMO Conference Room. The session focused on evaluating the GEF-funded project “Combating Environmental Organized Crime in the Philippines – Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT)”.

As ports are essential entry and exit points, they play a significant role in combating illegal wildlife trafficking and other environmental crimes.

The participation of PMO Agusan underscores its commitment to supporting environmental protection, inclusivity, and sustainable development on both national and global scales.
