The Port Police Division of PPA PMO Agusan successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Security Breach Test at Baseport Nasipit on March 5, 2026, to assess the effectiveness of passenger baggage inspection and security screening procedures at the port.

During the drill, security screeners from Commander Security Services Inc. (CSSI) successfully intercepted a replica revolver tucked at the back of a passengerโ€™s waist and the barrel of a Rock Island 1911 9mm pistol concealed inside a port userโ€™s baggage.

The test was conducted simultaneously at the Integrated Port Access and Control Center (IPACC) Port Users Area and the Passenger X-ray Screening Area, with assistance from security guards from Advance Forces Security and Investigation Services Inc. (AFSISI).

The activity aimed to evaluate the capability of security personnel to detect prohibited items and properly implement security procedures in accordance with PPA Memorandum Circular No. 05-2021, highlighting the alertness and preparedness of port security personnel in ensuring the safety and security of port users and facilities.
