The Port Management Office (PMO) of Agusan successfully held the Fourth Quarter Joint Meeting of the Port Management Advisory Council (PMAC) and the Port Facility Security Advisory Committee (PFSAC) for 2025 on November 26 at the PMO Multipurpose Hall, Port of Nasipit. The event brought together PMO officials and personnel, representatives from shipping lines, maritime and law enforcement agencies, partner government offices, terminal operators Globalport Agusan Terminal Inc. (GATI) and Concord Arrastre & Stevedoring Corp. (CASCOR), as well as key stakeholders from Barangay Talisay and the Local Government Unit of Nasipit.

Acting Port Manager Atty. Kahlil L. Lamigo presided over the meeting, which focused on port operations, infrastructure programs, and priority initiatives for the coming year. The PMO provided updates on the Masao Port Expansion and Improvement Project and the Nasipit Port Expansion and Rehabilitation Project, along with a review of the officeโ€™s operational performance for the third quarter of 2025.

The Port Police Division presented heightened security measures for OPLAN Krismas 2025, ongoing security activities for the last quarter of the year, and updates on pending court cases. Terminal operators GATI and CASCOR also shared their third-quarter accomplishments and outlined upcoming projects for 2026, reaffirming their support for the portโ€™s operational and developmental objectives.

In support of the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, the PMO shared the AdVAWcacy Calendar of Activities, observed from November 25 to December 12, aimed at raising awareness, strengthening advocacy, and fostering a safer and more inclusive environment for all women. Council members collectively affirmed their commitment by reciting the PMO Safe Spaces Pledge.

In his closing remarks, Atty. Lamigo thanked all attendees and emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving PMO Agusanโ€™s goals. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to council members as a gesture of gratitude for their continued partnership and contribution to port development.
